What is Fast Growing Trees' Alive & Thrive Guarantee™?

At Fast Growing Trees, we want your plants to arrive healthy and ready to thrive. Our Alive & Thrive Guarantee™ provides coverage for eligible live plants for one year from the date of delivery, subject to the terms below.

If an eligible plant arrives in poor condition, is the incorrect plant, develops certain covered issues shortly after delivery, or dies from covered natural causes during the first one-year coverage period, Fast Growing Trees will provide a one-time replacement for that plant. Replacement shipping, handling, and applicable taxes are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the guarantee.

What the Guarantee Covers

The Alive & Thrive Guarantee™ applies to eligible live plants purchased directly from Fast Growing Trees and covers the following issues:

• Plant quality issues present upon arrival;

• An incorrect plant delivered in the customer’s order;

• Fungus or disease identified within four weeks after delivery;

• Insects or insect damage identified within four weeks after delivery; and

• Death of an eligible plant from covered natural causes during the one-year coverage period.

Each eligible live plant is covered for one approved replacement only.

Coverage Period

The Alive & Thrive Guarantee™ is valid for one year from the date the eligible plant is delivered. Claims for fungus, disease, insects, or insect damage must be submitted within four weeks after delivery.

What the Guarantee Does Not Cover

The Alive & Thrive Guarantee™ does not cover plants purchased for use outside their recommended growing zones or damage, decline, or death caused by external or non-covered conditions, including:

●   Neglectful care or failure to follow appropriate planting and care instructions;

●   Improper planting, placement, watering, fertilizing, pruning, or maintenance;

●   Extreme weather, including heat, cold, drought, flooding, storms, frost, or freeze events;

●   Damage caused by animals, pests introduced after the covered post-delivery period, or humans;

●   Use of the plant in an unsuitable climate, location, soil condition, container, or growing environment; and

●   Other external factors outside Fast Growing Trees’ control.

Are there any items that aren’t covered?

The Alive & Thrive Guarantee™ does not apply to the following categories:

●   Garden supplies;

●   Grass seed;

●   Annuals;

●   Gardenuity® products;

●   Tabletop or desktop plants; and

●   Holiday plants.

How to Submit a Claim

To submit a claim, please contact Fast Growing Trees through the Contact Us form. Customers must provide the information requested in the form, including clear photos for each plant submitted under the guarantee. Photo requirements and any additional claim details are provided on the Contact Us form.

Fast Growing Trees will review the claim and determine whether the plant is eligible for coverage. If the claim is approved, Fast Growing Trees will provide a one-time replacement for the covered plant, subject to inventory availability, and the terms of this guarantee.

Replacement Availability and Credits

If an approved replacement plant is unavailable, Fast Growing Trees may provide a credit in an amount equivalent to the covered plant’s purchase price. Credits are provided in lieu of replacement only when Fast Growing Trees determines that an eligible replacement is not available.

Replacement Shipping, Handling, and Taxes

Replacement plants are provided at no charge for the plant itself when a claim is approved. Shipping, handling, and applicable taxes for any replacement plant are the customer’s responsibility.

Plants That Arrive Damaged

If your plant arrives damaged, please contact Fast Growing Trees promptly through the Contact Us form so we can review the issue and determine whether a replacement is appropriate. Photos are required for each plant submitted under the guarantee. 

Important Limitations

The Alive & Thrive Guarantee™ provides a one-time replacement or, when a replacement is unavailable, a credit as described above. It is not a money-back guarantee and does not provide refunds except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated by Fast Growing Trees. The guarantee applies only to eligible plants and covered conditions described in these terms.

Customer-Friendly Short Form

Our promise: Eligible live plants purchased from Fast Growing Trees are covered for one year after delivery. If your covered plant arrives in poor condition, is incorrect, develops covered fungus, disease, insects, or insect damage within the stated time period, or dies from covered natural causes during the first year, we will provide a one-time replacement. Replacement shipping, handling, and taxes are not included. Certain plants, products, growing-zone issues, care-related problems, weather events, animal or human damage, and other external factors are excluded.
