1. Planting: The Cryptomeria japonica 'Golden Promise' are hardy plants that will thrive in zones 5 to 9. For best results, plant in well-drained soil with full to partial sun. When you are ready to plant, dig a hole the same width and depth of the Golden Promise’s root ball, place the shrub in the hole and fill with dirt.
2. Watering: Water regularly while your Golden Promise is establishing to ensure strong, healthy roots.
