3 in 1 Peach Trees are self-fertile. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional 3 in 1 Peach Tree will drastically increase the size of your crop.
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Remove the stake and ties at planting, as these are only for shipping. Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil to ensure optimal growth. Dig a hole that is twice the width of the root ball and just deep enough so that the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface. Apply a 3" thick layer of mulch three feet around the tree, pulled back several inches from the trunk.
2. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy, especially during the first year after planting. Water deeply once a week, allowing the top few inches of soil to dry out between watering sessions as the tree establishes.
3. Pruning: Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Remove any dead or crossing branches to encourage an open center and allow good air circulation, providing better fruit development.
4. Fertilizing: Fertilize in early spring with a balanced fertilizer designed for fruit trees. Follow the product's instructions for application rates to promote healthy growth and improve fruit quality. Avoid over-fertilizing, which can lead to excessive leaf growth at the expense of fruit production.
