Planting & Care
1. Planting: The Meant to Bee™ 'Queen Nectarine' Agastache thrives in full sun, requiring 6 to 8 hours of sunlight each day. It prefers dry to average moisture levels. Plant this perennial in the spring, after the last frost, or in the fall.
Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil, as Agastache prefers even dry soil conditions. Space the plants 32 to 36 inches apart. When planting, dig a hole that is twice as wide as the root ball and roughly the same depth.
2. Watering: Water the plant thoroughly after planting and during dry spells, especially if it is in a container.
3. Pruning: Remove old foliage in late winter or early spring.
4. Fertilizing: No need for fertilizers. Excessively fertile soils can lead to weak growth. In colder climates, use mulch to protect the roots.
