Compact, Fast-Growing Flower, Perfect for Butterfly Gardens!

The Bells of Fire™ Tecoma is a stunning, fast-growing flower with gorgeous color! Its red-orange, trumpet-shaped blooms and green, upright foliage with a fern-like appearance deliver on flair and pizzazz in any space it’s planted.

This flower grows best in warm, tropical climates, but it can be used as an annual in cooler areas. If you want a long-lasting plant, this is the one for you! It blooms from spring until the first frost.

Not only is it easy-to-grow, but it’s self-cleaning as well! This Tecoma, also commonly called Esperanza, is a low-maintenance color option for your home or garden. Just plant it somewhere with full to partial sun.

You can create your own butterfly garden with this lovely plant! It’s excellent at attracting hummingbirds and other pollinators as well, making it the perfect springtime activity to watch as they flock to your flowers.

And since it’s compact in size, this flower is great for containers, mass plantings, and hedges. Plus, it’s drought and heat-tolerant, making it a strong, hardy addition to your green space.

Ready to add a bit of tropical of color to your yard? Order your own Bells of Fire Tecoma today!

Planting & Care

Planting: Plant in an area where it can receive full sunlight (between 6-8 hours per day) or only partial shade, and water before planting. Dig a hole twice the width of pot. Plant the flower 1-2″ above ground soil level and backfill the hole with soil. Water deeply to settle, then add more soil if needed. Mulch 1-2″ deep around plant, avoiding the area closest to the stem.

Watering: Water regularly, at least weekly or more often especially in extreme heat or containers.

Fertilizing: Feed throughout the growing season - monthly if planted in gardens, and bi-monthly if planted in containers.
