First-Ever Cascade Hydrangea with Frilly, Cascading Blooms
Introducing the Fairytrail Bride® Cascade Hydrangea, North America's first-ever trailing hydrangea. This unique beauty boasts cascading stems filled with large, open blooms that feature lacy, deckle-edged petals. This plant is a breakthrough from renowned breeder Ushio Sakazaki.
With its horizontal growth habit, Fairytrail Bride® is perfect for hanging baskets, containers, and cascading over walls or beds. The stunning white blooms create a soft, flowing effect that make it a standout in any setting.
Fairytrail Bride® is not only unique for its looks, but also its easy care. It requires no deadheading and thrives in heat, offering gorgeous flowers all season long. Its compact size and versatile growing habit make it ideal for smaller spaces or areas that need a touch of elegance with minimal effort.
About Proven Winners®: Proven Winners® ColorChoice Shrubs offers flowering shrubs, evergreens, and trees that have been tested for eight to ten years to ensure they outperform conventional varieties. That means bigger flowers, more colorful foliage, reblooming, disease resistance, new habits, or anything that makes them more beautiful and easier to grow in your landscape or garden.
If you’re looking to bring a bit of magic to your garden, Fairytrail Bride® is the plant to make it happen. Its vibrant blooms, trailing form, and ease of care are guaranteed to add wow factor wherever it’s planted. Grow yours today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant in a location with full to partial sun and well-drained soil. Space 2–3 feet apart to allow for the cascading growth habit. This plant thrives in containers or when spilling over retaining walls.
2. Watering: Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist. It’s important not to let the soil dry out completely, especially during hot, dry periods.
3. Fertilizing: Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer to encourage strong growth and abundant blooms.
4. Pruning: Pruning is not necessary, but you can remove dead or damaged stems as needed. Fairytrail Bride® blooms on old wood, so any pruning should be done after flowering.
