Planting & Care
1. Planting: When your plants arrive, remove them from the box and check the soil. If they are dry to the touch, place them in a shallow dish of water and let them soak up the water they need. Then place them in a sunny spot until you are ready to plant them in the grow bag. Once planted, this kit will need 4-6 hours of sunlight per day. Move the kit to a shady spot if outdoor temperatures exceed 90 degrees, and inside if they drop below 36 degrees.
2. Watering: Water 4-5 times a week, checking daily for dry soil.
3. Fertilizing: Use the provided Herb Serum once a week to nourish your herb garden.
4. Harvesting: You can begin harvesting 10-14 days after planting, or when mature herbs are present.
5. Pruning: Pruning herbs keeps them growing strong. Pruning or cutting off leaves and parts of the herb stems will signal the plant to continue growing and keep your garden thick and lush. Pruning can be accomplished by pinching with your fingers for the smaller stems or using clean shears for heavier work.
