Planting & Care
Planting: Once your plants arrive, unpack them immediately and check their soil. If it is dry to the touch, place your plants in a shallow dish of water and let them soak up the water they need. Then leave them in a sunny spot until you are ready to plant them in the grow bag. Ideally, your plants should be planted within 24-48 hours after arrival.
Set up your garden using the printed Gardenuity® instructions. Place your garden in an area that receives 4-6 hours of sunlight per day. Your herbs will be ready to harvest in 10-14 days.
Watering: Water your garden 4-5 times per week. Checking on your garden every morning is encouraged.
Fertilizing: Once per week, it's recommended to use a Gardenuity® Herb Serum and spray bottle to feed and nourish your plants.
Harvesting: You can begin harvesting 10-14 days after planting, or when mature herbs are present.
Pruning: Pruning herbs keeps them growing strong. Pruning or cutting off leaves and parts of the herb stems will signal the plant to continue growing and keep your garden thick and lush. Pruning can be accomplished by pinching with your fingers for the smaller stems or using clean shears for heavier work.
