Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a location with well-drained soil and adequate sunlight, ideally at least 6 hours of sun per day. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball, place the plant in the center, and backfill with soil while gently firming it around the roots to eliminate air pockets.
2. Watering: Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy, especially during dry spells. Established plants typically require less frequent watering, but during hot weather, ensure they receive adequate moisture to thrive.
3. Pruning: Prune in early spring just before new growth begins. Remove any dead or damaged wood, along with any crossing branches to improve air circulation. Aim for an open center to allow sunlight to penetrate the shrub, promoting healthier growth and blooms.
