Vivacious Color For Easy Interest

For vivid, bright color and semi-evergreen, lush growth, choose the Heavenly Bamboo. This nandina shrub offers green to cherry-red to royal purple foliage for a stunning color display with delicate white flowers bursting forth in summer and bright red berries appearing in fall.

And if these various hues and textures aren’t enough, this variety is both sun and shade friendly for planting versatility. While its colors will be brightest in full sun, you can also spruce up shady spots with your Heavenly Bamboo.

Plant your Heavenly Bamboo as an accent plant or as a hedge to create dense coverage. No matter where it’s placed, it’ll provide a pop of easy interest that’s sure to catch the eye.

If you’re ready to light up your landscape, try out the Heavenly Bamboo!

NOTE: This product is specific to California. Find Heavenly Bamboo available in other states.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant your nandina in an area that receives full to partial sunlight (a minimum of 4 hours of sunlight daily) and well-drained soil. Once you've selected your location, dig a hole that's large enough to accommodate your shrub's root ball, place your shrub, and water the surrounding soil.

2. Watering: Let your soil dry to the touch down to about 2 inches in between waterings. Once your soil is dry, give your nandina a deep watering at the base.

3. Fertilizing: Fertilize your nandina at the beginning of every spring and in the middle of summer with an acidic fertilizer.
