Pollination Info
Bushel and Berry® Jelly Bean® Blueberry Bush Pollination
Bushel and Berry® Jelly Bean® Blueberry Bushs are self-fertile. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional Bushel and Berry® Jelly Bean® Blueberry Bush will drastically increase the size of your crop.
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your bush in well-drained soil, ensuring it receives full to partial sunlight.
2. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, aiming for about 1 to 2 inches of water per week. Ensure proper drainage to prevent water stagnation, promoting a healthy and thriving blueberry bush.
3. Fertilizing: Feed your Jelly Bean® Blueberry with an all-purpose fertilizer in early spring and again in early fall, following the recommended application rates on the product label.
4. Pruning: In late winter prune out any dead branches on your Pink Icing® Blueberry. After harvest, prune non-fruit-bearing branches, leaving new branches to fruit the following season.
5. Pollination: Since this is a self-pollinating variety, you don’t have to add other blueberry varieties unless you want higher-yielding crops.
