Dwarf Accent Plant Thrives in Various Conditions

Known for adding a striking texture to urban landscapes, the Red Yucca Little Giant reaches a mature size of 4 feet tall and wide - perfect for smaller spaces!

This dwarf variation makes a great accent plant and showcases slender green and pink stalks with gorgeous flowers that bloom all spring and summer long. It also boasts a thread-like white fringe that intertwines along the leaves, which adds a unique and attractive element to any garden or yardscape.

The best part? The Red Yucca Little Giant is drought resistant and thrives in hot areas, no matter the soil quality in which it’s planted. Meaning, you get the benefit of a beautiful accent plant in your yard with very little effort!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant where it can receive full sunlight (between 6-8 hours per day). It can grow in any well-drained soil, but sandy soil is ideal. If planted in a container, fill with a well-drained potting soil and at least one good drainage hole. Allow at least 2 feet on each side of the plant and 2-3 feet away from sidewalks or driveways.

2. Watering:  Water regularly for the first year (but let the soil dry out completely between each watering). Then, water occasionally, especially during periods of hot, dry weather. Be careful not to overwater.

3. Fertilization: You can feed this plant lightly before new growth appears in spring with a good-quality, general-purpose fertilizer.
