Planting & Care
1. Planting: Choose a location that receives full sun (6-8 hours each day) with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide and as deep as the root ball. Place the Loves Me, Loves Me Not™ Rose with the crown level to the soil surface, backfill with soil, and water deeply. Space plants to allow good airflow.
2. Watering: Water deeply 1–2 times per week, ensuring the soil remains moist but not soggy. Increase watering during dry or hot weather. Water at the base of the plant to avoid wetting the foliage, which helps reduce the risk of disease.
3. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced rose fertilizer in early spring when new growth appears. Continue feeding every 4–6 weeks throughout the growing season. Stop fertilizing in late summer to prepare the plant for dormancy.
4. Pruning: Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Remove dead, damaged, or crossing canes to improve air circulation and shape the plant. Shape the plant for a compact, bushy form.
