Get Carried Away with this Stunning Tropical Indoor Plant
The lush, idyllic beauty of the Monstera Thai Constellation transforms any indoor space into an island escape! With its vibrant and dramatic green leaves, this monstera is named for its unique variegation. Creamy white is speckled across the foliage, reminiscent of a starry night sky.
Long renowned for its distinctive beauty, the Thai Constellation is surprisingly easy to grow and maintain. Even novice gardeners will enjoy learning to cultivate this special plant. Monsteras love warm, humid spaces with plenty of natural light. Choose a location for yours within a few feet of a bright east-facing window, or use sheer curtains or window film to soften the light coming from south- or west-facing windows.
Be prepared for plenty of growth, as the leaves of the Thai Constellation will unfurl and spread up to 15 inches! It will climb tall and vertically, continuing to offer its signature eye-catching colors and unmistakable marbling. Note that this plant is toxic to both humans and animals. Add a touch of flair and order your Monstera Thai Constellation today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Thai Constellation needs bright, indirect light. Choose a location within a few feet of a bright east-facing window, or use sheer curtains or window film to soften the light coming from south- or west-facing windows.
When planting, choose a container 12 to 14 inches in diameter that has proper drainage holes. Use a soil mix that is loose, rich in organic materials, and well-draining.
2. Watering: Spritz Thai Constellation leaves with water in the dry winter months or throughout the year if you live in a dry climate, especially since it loves humidity. We also recommend watering your monstera once a week – water when the soil is dry at about 2 inches deep, and water until you see it flow from the drainage holes.
3. Fertilizing: Fertilize once a month during the spring and summer with a balanced houseplant fertilizer.
FGT Tip: The leaves of your Monstera may collect dust, so be sure to keep your tree healthy by wiping down the leaves as needed with a dust cloth.
