110 Days of Vibrant Blooms
Why Natchez Crape Myrtle Trees?
Imagine an incredible 110 days of flower power! The Natchez will delight you with hundreds of delicate white flowers from June to September. Especially since it's a fast grower that delights all summer long.
The Natchez Crape grows rapidly at 3 to 5 feet a year and is tolerant of many climates. Through the toughest conditions and weather, the Natchez' pure white blooms will explode in brilliance against the tree's deep green canopy.
The Natchez Crape Myrtle also delivers unusual bark coloring of cinnamon on the trunk and stems, along with its smooth, sleek distinctive texture. This coloring gives you great winter interest with a brightness not found in most other trees during the cold season.
Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better
When you order your Natchez Crape from Fast Growing Trees, you'll receive a well-developed root structure, grown to support rapid growth.
Unlike other big-box garden retailers, our Natchez Crape Myrtles are planted, grown and shipped in nutrient-rich soil...never bare-root. Bare-root trees are left with spindly, weak roots that are difficult to maintain.
But your Natchez from Fast Growing Trees is grown to last year after year, delivering unmatched color and blooms for decades to come.
Between the long bloom period and its unbelievably strong growth, the Natchez Crape Myrtle is an ideal candidate nearly anywhere in the country. The only catch for you? Ordering before it's gone! Don't wait - get your Natchez Crape Myrtle Tree today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Choose a location with full sun (6 to 8 hours of sunlight daily) and well-drained soil. Dig your hole twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep.
Place your Natchez in the hole and make sure that the root crown (where the root ball meets the trunk(s) of the tree) is level with the soil surface. Backfill and then mulch the area around the tree.
2. Watering: While establishing, Myrtles may need a bit more attention with watering during the hot summer season. Once they're established, they subsist on rainfall alone, but we recommend watering about once or twice weekly while they're young.
If you're not sure when to water, simply check the surrounding soil about 3 inches down for dryness.
3. Fertilizing: Your Natchez will benefit from a light application of a complete, balanced, slow-release fertilizer formula in the early spring and summer.
4. Pruning: Only a light pruning of the myrtle is needed to encourage plenty of blooms. Remove any dead and damaged branches, and prune back to about 4 or 5 strong trunks.
