Blue-Purple Blooms + Easy Growth

Why Neverland Lily of the Nile Plant?
It’s like a mini willow, with its long and arching branches and weeping mound effect – and the Neverland is made even more stunning by its bluish-purple blooms that emerge in mid-summer to early fall.

And its flower clusters are especially eye-catching since they have five-petaled silhouettes. These blooms are a favorite for butterflies and hummingbirds while being deer resistant – this means you get a dazzling wildlife show without any hassle, especially since it’s drought-tolerant too.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: It’s highly adaptable and versatile, but the Neverland Lily does need an area with well-drained soil and 4 to 8 hours of sunlight per day. Once you’ve found your location, dig a hole that’s about one to two times the width of your plant’s root ball. If you’re planting in a container, select one that is about one and a half times the width of your plant. After digging, place your plant, backfill your soil and water to settle the roots.

2. Watering: Depending on the rainfall in your area, your newly planted Plumbago should be watered once or twice weekly. After the plant is established, water once every week or once every two weeks. If you’re not sure when to water, simply check the surrounding soil about 2 to 3 inches down – if it’s dry, it’s time to water.

3. Fertilizing: Apply an all-purpose fertilizer to your Lily of the Nile once in the springtime and then again in the summer while it’s growing.
