A prolific pepper plant with vibrant red fruits

The Organic Snackabelle Red Pepper Plant brings both beauty and productivity to your garden. A standout feature of this variety is its ability to produce an abundance of charming mini bell peppers that ripen from a bright green to a striking red. Planting this pepper can transform an ordinary garden patch into a flourishing culinary haven, and with its compact size, it's perfect for containers or small spaces.

In addition to its ornamental charm, the Snackabelle is a versatile addition to your kitchen. These mini peppers are perfect for snacking, stuffing, or adding to a variety of dishes, making them an excellent choice for home cooks and families alike. Not only do they add robust flavor, but their sweetness makes them a hit with kids and adults. By cultivating this pepper plant, you're investing in both aesthetic pleasure and delicious harvests for the seasons to come. This product is Certified Organic by Clemson University.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil for the best results. Space the plants about 18-24 inches apart to allow for their prolific growth. If you're using containers, select a pot that is at least 12 inches deep. When planting, gently firm the soil around the roots and water thoroughly.

2. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, particularly during dry spells. Water the plants early in the morning to avoid fungal diseases and ensure the moisture reaches the roots. Avoid overhead watering to help prevent damage to the fruits.

3. Pruning: Prune any yellowing leaves or suckers that develop at the base of the plant. This helps promote healthy air circulation and directs the plant's energy toward producing fruit. You can also trim back any overcrowded branches to enhance sunlight penetration.

4. Fertilizing: Feed your pepper plant every 4-6 weeks with a balanced organic fertilizer. High potassium options are especially beneficial during the fruiting stage. Just be sure not to over-fertilize, as this can lead to excessive foliage growth at the expense of fruit production.

5. Harvesting: Peppers can be harvested in the green stage, but are more flavorful and sweeter if allowed to turn red. Use clippers or scissors to harvest, as stems can break easily.
