Pollination Info
Bushel and Berry® Pink Icing® Blueberry Bush Pollination
Bushel and Berry® Pink Icing® Blueberry Bushs are self-fertile. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional Bushel and Berry® Pink Icing® Blueberry Bush will drastically increase the size of your crop.
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your Pink Icing® Blueberry in well-draining, acidic soil in a location with full sun to partial shade. Ensure proper spacing so your bush has room to grow.
2. Watering: Water consistently, aiming for moist but not waterlogged soil. Provide a deep, regular watering schedule, especially during dry spells, ensuring the roots receive adequate moisture for optimal growth and fruit development.
3. Fertilizing: Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, acidic fertilizer according to package instructions. Repeat the application in late spring or early summer.
4. Pruning: In late winter prune out any dead branches on your Pink Icing® Blueberry. After harvest, prune non-fruit-bearing branches, leaving new branches to fruit the following season.
5. Pollination: Since this is a self-pollinating variety, you don’t have to add other blueberry varieties unless you want higher-yielding crops.
