Planting & Care
1. Planting: Select a location that receives full sun (6-8 hours a day) with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide and as deep as the root ball. Place the Princesse Charlene de Monaco® Rose with the crown level to the soil surface, backfill with soil, and water deeply. Space plants to allow good airflow.
2. Watering: Water deeply 1–2 times per week, keeping the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Increase watering during hot or dry spells. Water at the base of the plant to prevent wetting the foliage and reduce the risk of disease.
3. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced rose fertilizer in early spring when new growth appears. Feed every 4–6 weeks during the growing season, stopping in late summer. For optimal blooms, use a slow-release fertilizer or supplement with liquid feed during active growth.
4. Pruning: Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Remove dead, damaged, or crossing canes to encourage healthy growth and air circulation. Shape as needed for a bushy, compact habit.
