Beyond its decorative appeal, this living plant provides a continuous harvest of culinary rosemary for your kitchen—perfect for seasoning roasted vegetables, meats, and holiday dishes. Whether you keep it indoors near a sunny window or display it outdoors in mild climates, this versatile topiary thrives with basic care and rewards you with beauty and flavor season after season. It's the gift that keeps on giving, combining festive charm with the satisfaction of growing your own herbs.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Spanish lavender requires a location with full sun (6 to 8 hours per day) and well-draining soil.

Dig a hole large enough to accommodate the Lavender's root ball, loosen the soil, and place the plant. Backfill the hole, lightly tamping the soil, to prevent air pockets from forming.

If you're container-planting, select a pot that's about two sizes larger than your shipped container. Use sandy potting mix, place your plant, and fill with the soil mix, leaving a couple of inches at the top. After watering, place it in front of a south-facing window or on a sunny patio spot where it will receive full sun for much of the day.

2. Watering: Once your Lavender is established, it's generally drought tolerant but does like moist soil. If you're not sure when to water, simply check the soil. If it feels dry, add just enough water to dampen the area.

3. Pruning: After the flowers have faded, prune your Lavender back to one-third to one-half its size to encourage growth.

4. Fertilizing: Spanish lavender does not require much fertilizer. Apply a balanced fertilizer once or twice a year.
