Splendid, All-Seasons Dogwood
Unlike other dogwoods, Sgt. Pepper™ isn’t satisfied with staying the same color all year! Instead, it puts on a show of hues throughout the seasons, starting with new spring foliage that boasts hints of bright pink. As the pink edges fade, clusters of white flowers appear during late spring, before giving way to the lovely summer shades of white and green. As summer winds down, all the formerly white leaf margins transform to a bright pink.
The final act of Sgt. Pepper™ is when the stems take on a deep red tone that lasts all winter long, brightening even the darkest days. No other dogwood puts on a show like this one, and its appealing colors make Sgt. Pepper™ ideal for adding in mass plantings, arranged as a natural hedge, when used in beds, or as the focal point of a cutting garden.
Cold-hardy and durable, Sgt. Pepper loves shady locations and is robust even in wet soil. It is resistant to animals like deer and rabbits, and provides eye-catching visual appeal in any setting. Order your Sgt. Pepper™ today and begin enjoying a year-round display of color!

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Sgt. Pepper will do best when planted in a location with partial shade and well-drained soil.
Dig your planting hole twice the width of the root ball and just as deeply enough so that it's level with the surrounding area. Remove the plant from the container by gently tapping on the ground and easing the plant out of the container.
Place the shrub in the planting hole and backfill with your blend of native and gardening soil and gently tap down to secure the plant. Water the planting site to settle the soil, then mulch to retain soil moisture.
2. Watering: Create a mulch barrier around the plant's trunk at planting. Keep the mulch five or six inches away from the trunk itself to help the plant retain water. Water the Sgt. Pepper thoroughly once or twice weekly - if you're not sure when to water, simply check the surrounding soil about 2 or 3 inches down. If the soil is dry here, it's time to water.
