Planting & Care
1. Planting: Select an area with full sun for your Stella D'Oro (anywhere that receives 6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day).
To plant in the ground, select an area with well-drained soil, dig a hole large enough to accommodate your Stella's root ball, then place your plant. Finally, backfill the soil and water the area to settle your Stella's roots.
To container plant, select a pot that's about twice the size of your plant's shipped container, use organic soil, and place your plant with the soil in its new pot. Also, ensure your new pot has drainage holes.
2. Watering: Generally, you'll want to water your Daylily about once a week. If you're not sure when to water your plant, simply check the surrounding soil for dryness about 2 inches down.
