Planting & Care

Planting: Plant individually or in groups with around 2 to 3 feet between plants. STING® is tolerant of a variety of soils but thrives in well-drained soil with average moisture. Choose a location that receives full to partial sunlight (around 6 hours per day) in zones 3-8.

Watering: Make sure to provide consistent watering to your plants during times of drought. It's important to check the soil moisture regularly and give them enough water to help them thrive, especially when rainfall is scarce. Aim to water in the early morning or late afternoon to minimize evaporation and ensure that the water reaches the roots effectively.

Fertilizing: In spring, apply a controlled-release fertilizer.

Pruning: Minimal care is required. Pruning is generally unnecessary but can be done for shaping in summer.
