Planting & Care
1. Planting: This rose comes pre-planted in a decorative pot, ready for immediate enjoyment. If transplanting, choose a sunny location with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball, place the plant, and backfill with soil. Water thoroughly after planting.
2. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water deeply once or twice a week, allowing the top inch of soil to dry between waterings. In hot, dry weather, check moisture levels more frequently.
3. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced rose fertilizer in early spring as new growth appears. Continue feeding every 4-6 weeks through the growing season to promote continuous blooms. Stop fertilizing in late summer to encourage dormancy.
4. Pruning: Remove spent blooms (deadheading) regularly to encourage new flowers. In early spring, prune back dead or weak branches to maintain shape and promote healthy growth. Minimal pruning is needed for container-grown plants.
