Clusters of White Blooms Shift to Pink in Summer

Illuminate your yard with the Sweet Starlight™ Hydrangea Tree, a color-changing variety that adds a romantic, timeless look to your garden. It's the perfect size for most small spaces, too!

This hydrangea's blooms begin snowy white before shifting to a rich pink over the summer. Watch as it deepens in color and offers clusters of upright flowers in sturdy stems that won't droop.

Plus, this tree is cold-hardy and compact enough to plant beneath windows, in foundations, low hedges, borders, and so much more. It's a charming addition to your green space, and the soft blooms against the deep green leaves create interest in any yard.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Water the area before planting. Choose a location that receives full sun, and dig a hole that is twice the width of the plant's pot. Position the plant 1-2 inches above the surrounding soil level, and backfill the hole with soil, making sure it is properly secured. Water the plant deeply to help settle the soil, and add more soil if necessary. Apply 1-2 inches of mulch around the plant, being careful to avoid the area closest to the stem.

2. Watering:  Water regularly until the plant is established. During hot, dry weather, ensure you water deeply and consistently to maintain moisture in the soil.

3. Pruning: Pruning is not necessary; however, dead-heading can encourage new growth.

4. Fertilizing: Fertilize annually in early spring with a slow-release feed.
