Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a location that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight daily and has well-drained soil. Dig a hole that is twice the width of the root ball and just as deep, gently placing the rose into the hole and backfilling with soil.
2. Watering: Water deeply and consistently, especially when the plant is establishing itself. Aim for about an inch of water per week, adjusting it during hotter months to ensure the soil stays moist but not soggy.
3. Pruning: Prune in early spring before new growth begins, removing any dead or damaged branches and shaping the plant to encourage an open center for airflow. Regular deadheading of spent blooms throughout the growing season will encourage more flowers.
4. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced rose fertilizer in early spring as new growth appears. Reapply every 4–6 weeks during the growing season to support vibrant blooms and overall health.
