Planting & Care
1. Planting: Choose a spot with full sun (at least 6 hours per day) and well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep. Place the rose, backfill with soil, and water thoroughly. For containers, use a pot with drainage holes and high-quality potting mix.
2. Watering: Water deeply once or twice a week, allowing the top inch of soil to dry between waterings. Reduce frequency in cooler months. Avoid overhead watering to prevent disease.
3. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced rose fertilizer in early spring as new growth appears. Continue feeding every 4-6 weeks during the growing season for optimal blooms. Stop fertilizing in late summer to encourage dormancy.
4. Pruning: In early spring, remove dead or weak branches and shape as needed. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to promote continuous flowering. Perform light pruning in late winter for a strong, healthy plant.
