Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your Emerald Isles 4-6 inches deep in moist, well-drained soil, making sure to space them 2-4 feet apart.
Indoors, you can keep your Alocasia in its nursery pot or replant into a decorative pot, using a well-draining potting mix.
2. Watering: Alocasias like moist soil but require proper drainage. Allow the soil to dry slightly in between waterings.
3. Fertilizing: Fertilizing isn't necessary, but you can feed your alocasia with an all-purpose water-soluble fertilizer (20-20-20) once a month, or give it a splash of watered-down coffee or fish emulsion.
