Planting & Care
Your Boston Fern needs indirect light and a humid atmosphere. The best place for your plant is near an east-facing window that is free from drafts. Boston Ferns prefer a temperature of 55-75 F. The kitchen or bathroom are ideal because of their moisture, but you can add a humidifier to dryer spaces.
Watering: The Boston Fern likes to stay moist, in environments with over 50% humidity, because of his you may need to water and spray daily. You can also place your fern on top of a pebble-filled tray. If the leaves brown, it needs more water.
Fertilization: Add a diluted liquid fern fertilizer every month from spring to fall for faster growing.
Pests: Your Boston Fern is unlikely to attract pests, but if it does, simply spray with water to remove them.
Pruning: Prune off unhealthy or brown fronds as needed. Otherwise, pruning is not required.
