Why Dwarf Burford Holly Shrubs?
For starters, the Dwarf Burford Holly Shrub is known for its rich evergreen foliage and classic red berries but with a twist…its adaptable size that fits in nearly anywhere. This widely-used shrub, particularly suited for warmer climates, is still dense and layered but ideal for natural hedging beneath windows, along fences and beyond. It’s a more compact version of the most popular Holly on the market.
And its fast growth merges with deer resistance for an amazing combination. Fast growth and its small size means it won’t overtake your garden and is well-suited for pairing with your other landscape favorites. Plus, even though it’s a heavy producer of large, bright red berries (and without a pollinator!), it doesn’t attract deer – only dazzling wildlife, like butterflies and birds, for an eye-catching show.

4. Pruning: If you want a neater appearance for your Burford, prune or shear annually in winter to shape it.
