Dwarf Cherry Tree With High Production and Earlier Blooms
Create your own orchard when you add the Juliet Cherry Tree to your yard! This dwarf variety is a must for any small space, and it's even great for harvesting with small children.
This cold-hardy tree is low-maintenance, and it also makes a wonderful accent tree in any green space. Plus, it blooms sooner than most cherry trees and gives higher fruit production for a full season of tasty cherries you can eat right from the tree.
Indulge in large cherries with a semi-sweet, tart flavor that elevates any treat: pies, smoothies, yogurt bowls, and more. These dark, red cherries add color to the green leaves, and since it's a self-fertile plant, you won't need extra cherry trees to enjoy bounties of fresh fruit.
Bringing the Juliet Cherry Tree to your backyard means you'll never be without a healthy snack. Buy yours now!
Pollination Info
Juliet Cherry Tree Pollination
Juliet Cherry Trees are self-fertile. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional Juliet Cherry Tree will drastically increase the size of your crop.
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Juliet Cherry Trees, like other cherry varieties, thrive in full sun, requiring 6 to 8 hours of sunlight each day. They are best planted in autumn or early spring; planting in autumn allows the roots to establish before the spring growth period. When planting Juliet cherry bushes, space them 7 to 10 feet apart. Although they can tolerate various soil types, they prefer loamy soil with good drainage. Be sure to water thoroughly after planting and maintain consistently moist soil without waterlogging, especially during the first few weeks.
2. Watering: Water your cherry trees regularly, particularly during dry spells, but take care to avoid overwatering, as they cannot tolerate "wet feet."
3. Pruning: Prune in late winter or early spring to remove dead or damaged branches and to promote the growth of horizontal branches.
4. Fertilizing: Use a balanced fertilizer in both spring and mid-summer for best results.
5. Pollination: Juliet is a self-fertile variety, allowing it to produce fruit without the need for another cherry tree for pollination. However, planting a different cherry variety, such as Romeo, can enhance fruit production.
