Watering A thorough watering once weekly is generally all your avocado needs, however. While the roots prefer to stay on the dry side, avocado leaves love humidity. Indoor Avocados will do best if misted daily, especially when you are running heat during cooler months.
Fertilizing Feed in the spring, summer, fall and winter, after the tree has been planted for one year, using a well-balanced fertilizer.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Lila Avocado Trees are suited for smaller gardens and containers and thrive in full sun and well-drained soil with good air flow. They're also great for patio or indoor cultivation during colder months, provided they receive at least 6 hours of sunlight daily.
2. Watering: Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings to promote healthy root development and prevent waterlogging.
3. Pruning: While this variety has a naturally compact growth habit, pruning can be done to maintain an even smaller shape.
4. Fertilizing: Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer specifically formulated for fruit trees, applying it in spring and summer according to package instructions to support vigorous growth and fruit production.
5. Pollination: The Lila Avocado is self-pollinating, so you can get fruit with only one tree. However, to maximize fruit production, plant your Lila Avocado near another avocado tree for additional pollination.
