Striking Deep Green Leaves Make this Alocasia Stand Out
With incredible, reptilian-esque foliage, the Mythic® Dragonite™ jewel alocasia looks like something straight from a fantasy novel. The deep olive green leaves are so dark they are nearly black. Prominent veining and a thick, wrinkly texture make them a focal point in any indoor space.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Alocasias like bright light, but its leaves will burn in direct sun, so place your plant in a spot with bright, indirect light. Its ideal spot is near, but not directly in front of, a sunny window. For optimal performance, keep your Alocasia at 60-85°F (15-29°C).
You won’t need to re-pot your Alocasia right away; only re-pot when it outgrows its shipped container. Then, select a pot that’s about twice the width of the original container. When repotting, make sure your pot has good drainage holes and use organic soil mix.
2. Watering: Your Alocasia likes moist, well-draining soil. Use your finger to check the soil’s moisture level about two or three inches down. Water well when the soil is dry. Water your plant when there is a full two inches of dryness from the top of the soil.
You can also mist your Alocasia with a spray bottle twice or three times weekly to mimic a humid, tropical environment.
3. Pruning: Remove dead or damaged foliage to encourage healthy growth.
