Watering A thorough watering once weekly is generally all your avocado needs, however. While the roots prefer to stay on the dry side, avocado leaves love humidity. Indoor Avocados will do best if misted daily, especially when you are running heat during cooler months.
Fertilizing Feed in the spring, summer, fall and winter, after the tree has been planted for one year, using a well-balanced fertilizer.

Pollination Info
Simmonds Avocado Pollination
Simmonds Avocados are self-fertile. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional Simmonds Avocado will drastically increase the size of your crop.
Planting & Care
1. Planting: To plant your Simmonds Avocado, choose a sunny location with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball, position the tree ensuring the top of the root ball is slightly above the soil surface, and backfill with the removed soil.
2. Watering: Water thoroughly after planting to support initial root establishment. Keep the soil consistently moist during this critical phase to promote a healthy and robust foundation for your avocado tree.
3. Pruning: Some light pruning can be beneficial for shaping, removing dead or damaged branches, and maintaining a manageable size.
4. Fertilizing: Use a balanced fertilizer designed for avocados and follow the recommended application rates, typically during the growing season. Regular fertilization helps provide the necessary nutrients for a healthy and productive avocado tree.
5. Pollination: Pollinators are not required; however, other avocado plants can boost the size of your crops. Plant one of these pollinators within 100’ for best results.
