Planting & Care
1. Planting: Select a planting location that receives full sun, as this plant requires at least 6 hours of sunlight daily to thrive. Ensure the soil is medium-moisture, acidic, and well-drained. This mini rose typically grows to a height and width of 1 to 2 feet. Space the shrubs 1.5 to 2 feet apart to allow for proper air circulation around the foliage. You can grow one per 14-inch container.
2. Watering: Provide this plant with one to two inches of water each week, depending on rainfall. A thick layer of mulch helps retain moisture and reduces weeds.
3. Fertilizing: Fertilize every two to four weeks during the spring and summer.
4. Pruning: Prune your Sunblaze® Rainbow Rose in early spring to encourage fuller growth and more blooms. In cold or snowy climates, protect landscape plants during winter. Move container plants to a sheltered area away from harsh weather and low temperatures.
